NASCAR tv numbers for Bristol Motor Speedway; Every race in 2022
Over the weekend, NASCAR returned to the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt track. It was the second time the NASCAR Cup Series machine ran on the dirt in recent years and the first for the NASCAR Next Gen car.
On Saturday night, 1,167,000 tuned in to watch the NASCAR Truck Series event.
On Easter Sunday, 4,007,000 tuned in on average to watch the NASCAR Cup Series. The race under the light was delayed for rain, twice. The leaders crashed in the final corner, handing the win to Kyle Busch.
The race is the most-watched Bristol race since 2016.
The Cup race was the fourth most-watched sports program of the week. The top 3 were all NBA playoff games. Sunday afternoon’s Brooklyn vs Boston game brought 6,895,000 viewers for comparison.
