NASCAR tv schedule for the Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt Track

This weekend, NASCAR goes dirt track racing in Bristol, Tennessee. The half-mile Bristol Dirt Track is set to host the NASCAR Cup Series and Truck Series.

Bristol Dirt Format
-There will be four heat races. Each heat race will be 15 laps with the starting lineup set by owner points and a random draw. The top 10 are given points with the race winner earning 10 and 10th earning 1.

-Passing points are in play for the heats. For every position advance from the start of the race, drivers earn 1 additional point.

-The driver with the most points after the heats will be awarded the pole award. Tie-breakers are done via owner points.

-Beyond stage breaks, teams are not allowed to fuel the car or change tires. During stage breaks, the field is frozen and teams have a set amount of time to change tires, add fuel and make adjustments.

-No choose rule.
