Updated NASCAR point standings after penalties reduced

Hendrick Motorsports successfully appealed their 100 point penalties; Updated driver standings

Yesterday, Hendrick Motorsports won the appeal of their penalties for modifying hood louvers. The penalty wasn’t totally removed but the points portion of the penalty was removed.

With the reduction, all 4 Hendrick Motorsports machines were returned 100 owner points they were docked. Additionally, the 100 point driver points and 10 playoff points were given back to the team.

The amended penalty has shaken up the NASCAR point standings. Alex Bowman returns to the point lead.
