NASCAR Inspection: Crew members ejected from Kansas Speedway

Two NASCAR crew members have been ejected from Kansas Speedway following inspection

This weekend, NASCAR is set to race in Kansas City, Kansas. The 1.5-mile of Kansas Speedway hosts the NASCAR Cup Series this Sunday.

Cup cars have yet to touch the track. Today, teams are preparing for a round of practice and qualifying.

Before taking to the pit lane, cars must pass the inspection line.

The cars of Brennan Poole and Tyler Reddick both failed inspection twice. Per the rules, each of those teams will lose a crew member as well as pit selection.

Dave Jones, car chief of the No. 15 and Michael Hobson, car chief of the No. 45 car have been ejected.

All teams were able to pass on their third attempt through the inspection line.

Crew member of NASCAR’s choosing ejected (crew member cannot be replaced). Additionally, the team loses pit selection.
