NASCAR crew member ejected from the race weekend at Talladega Superspeedway

This weekend, NASCAR will race in Talladega, Alabama. The 2.66-mile track hosts the NASCAR Cup Series this Sunday.

Teams have yet to touch the track. However, today is inspection day. Teams are required to roll through the inspection line before they touch the track tomorrow for qualifying.

Austin Cindric failed tech inspection twice, passing on the third attempt. Per the rules, the No. 2 team will lose their car chief for the weekend. The team has also lost pit selection.

Cars will return to the track on Saturday for qualifying.

Crew member of NASCAR’s choosing ejected (crew member cannot be replaced). Additionally, the team loses pit selection.
