Last week, both Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez added their names to the CARS event. They joined Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kevin Harvick and Chase Briscoe. Now, add Keselowski to the list with sponsorship from FR8Auctions.
The CARS Tour race will run on Wednesday, May 17th.
“So when NASCAR made the announcement that the All-Star race will be held at the track this year, and that the CARS Tour would also be hosting a race during the same week, I wanted to do everything I could to participate in the CARS race.“
“I’m grateful for FR8Auctions wanting to partner with me again for another marquee late model event and to Hedgecock Racing Enterprises for all their hard work in preparing our car.”
“We’re looking forward to racing in front of a packed house at North Wilkesboro,” added Keselowski. “This is going to be a lot fun and to do it together with FR8Auctions, which has done so much for grassroots racing, and to help shine a bright light on late model racing, is really cool.”
Keselowski added via twitter, “It’s time to go back to my roots. I’m excited to head to North Wilkesboro Speedway next week behind the wheel of the No. 6.”
“Late in 2022 we made a commitment to continue to support the grassroots movement in the sport. Starting with Pro-Trucks and moving into Super Late Model racing with Brad in the Snowball Derby,” said Marcus Barela, Founder and CEO of FR8Auctions.
“These experiences have helped us solidify our focus on growing even further with the CARS Tour this year and beyond. We are thrilled to partner with Brad as we go into the North Wilkesboro race week. It’s sure to be a historic and exciting event for all.”
“Working with Championship Cup drivers that are focused on the short track roots of our sport gets me excited for both the upcoming race with Brad, but also for the future of our program,” added Matt Erickson, President of FR8Auctions.
“We will continue supporting professional drivers who are looking for these unique racing opportunities while also supporting the next generation of younger drivers that can develop skills through our program.”
