Teams have yet to touch the track. Qualifying and practice is scheduled for Saturday morning.

However, before teams are permitted to qualify, they must pass the inspection line. Inspection opened on Friday.

Two teams failed twice as they pass through inspection. The 23XI Racing team driven by Tyler Reddick and the Joe Gibbs Racing machine driven by Ty Gibbs each failed twice.

Per the rules, each of those Toyota teams will lose a crew member for the rest of the weekend. Both the No. 45 as well as the No. 54 were able to pass on their third time through the inspection line.

For the No. 54 team, car chief Nate Bellows is ejected.

Typically, car chiefs are ejected for inspection issues but NASCAR has the option to eject a crew member of their choice. For the No. 45 team, NASCAR has decided to eject crew chief Billy Scott.

The No. 45 team also suffered from inspection issues last week at Kansas Speedway. In last week’s case, car chief Michael Hobson was ejected.
