Race Report
Green flag, Lajoie leads into turn one as Jesse Love takes over 2nd.
Lap 2, Connor Zilisch has a run on Love into turn six. He dives inside and takes 2nd away.
Lap 7, Zilisch has run down race leader Lajoie. He has a run off turn seven. Zilisch dives inside into turn one and he leads into turn two.
Lap 12, Parker Retzlaff is on fire and the caution is out.
Frankie Muniz hits the pit lane with an electrical issue.
Green, Zilisch leads with LaJoie all over his bumper as they head up the hill.
Lap 22, Corey LaJoie hits the pit lane with an issue. The race break caution is out.
Green, Zilisch leads as Love and Crews run side by side for 2nd. Love holds 2nd into turn two.
LaJoie heads back to the pit lane. He’s out of the race due to brake issue.
15 to go, Zilisch leads Love by 3.5 seconds.
10 to go, Zilisch has a mechanical failure! The sway bar is broken and the car is rolling in every corner, sparks fly as the suspension drags the pavement. Love is closing.
6 to go, rain drops are starting to fall.
5 to go, Jack Wood spins exiting turn one and tags the inside wall, the caution is out.
Most of the leaders head to the pit lane for rain tires! Kris Wright, Stanton Barrett and few others stay out.
Green with 1 to go, Zilisch looks outside of Wright into turn one. Multiple cars on slick tires struggle to turn.
Love works inside of Crews for 2nd into the bus stop.
Love leans on the rear bumper of Zilisch into turn seven! Zilisch gets loose and Love works inside as they run side by side to the line!
Jesse Love wins with a final corner pass at Watkins Glen International!
