Here’s the full context of the jabs between NASCAR drivers Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace
It’s been an eventful week for Ryan Blaney. After the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the No. 12 team failed post-race inspection due to a shock length.
The next day, NASCAR rescinded the penalty. They noted that there was an issue with there templates used in the inspection.
The race points and stage points earned in Las Vegas were initially removed from Blaney. Now, those points have been restored.

“P Illegal Shock yesterday,” Bubba Wallace fired the first shot at Ryan Blaney via X.
Ryan Blaney: “Just remembered you were on vacation last year during Miami, are you excited to go back?”
Last year, Wallace was suspended after wrecking then attacking Kyle Larson at Las Vegas.
Wallace: “Ah yes. Learned a lot of what NOT to do that weekend. Prepped and ready to go.”
Wallace sent the above tweet with a video of Blaney spinning out at Miami.
Blaney: “Ah yes. Good view from the couch I’m sure. You learned of what NOT to do 2 weekends in a row. Look at you learning.”
Wallace: “War room*. But yes all of what you’re saying is correct. You’re on a roll, like normal! We’re all waiting for the choke moment tho…like normal.”
Blaney: “Hell you choked last* round. So now I’m trying to learn of what NOT to do from you. How crazy this world is.”
Blaney remains in the playoff battle. Wallace was eliminated in the Round of 12.
Wallace: “Look at you learning! Beers later?”
Blaney: “Make it bourbon my guy.”
Wallace: “If your team doesn’t end up with a breath mint sponsor after this week from kissing NASCARs ass…epic choke moment.”
Wallace: “When you got the end all in the chamber but just can’t do it.”
This weekend, NASCAR is racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It’s the second race in the Round of 8.
