The field is split into two groups for the opening round of qualifying. The top 5 cars from each group advance into the final round and make another run for the pole.
Tyler Reddick spun on his second lap of qualifying. William Byron was already on track as he spun, he pulled it back to the pit lane for a quick cool down before being sent back out.
