ARCA driver has transport issues on the road trip to Phoenix Raceway

“Buy an F450 so you can enjoy these repair prices while stranded in the desert!”

This weekend, NASCAR heads to Phoenix Raceway. The 1-mile track also hosts the ARCA Menards Series event.

Most teams are based on the East coast. And for the trips out west, it’s not uncommon to see transport issues every year.

Alex Clubb is an ARCA Menards Series driver. He’s scheduled to be on track Friday afternoon.

“We’re on the road to Phoenix! Catch Alex Clubb behind the wheel of our #03 Yavapai Bottle Gas machine during Friday nights ARCA General Tire 150.” Clubb Racing stated on Tuesday as they left the shop for Phoenix.

However, they ran into issues along the way.

“Had a smooth trip going until last night,” Alex Clubb opened via X.

“We found New Mexico’s biggest pot hole just past Tucumcari. The most fun part was jumping a barbedwire fence along 40 to go find our wheel and tire. Hopefully we can get it fixed so we don’t miss Friday’s race. Not much for parts here…

On Thursday, Clubb posted an auto repair bill totaling $6,423.76.

“Buy an F450 so you can enjoy these repair prices while stranded in the desert!”

“Huge thank you to Jeremy Petty and @Andy_Team364 for loaning us a truck so we can make it to Phoenix!”
