The former NASCAR driver has had his licence revoked
Kurt Busch is a former NASCAR Cup Series champion. His 23 year career in the division came to an abrupt close in 2022 after suffering a crash at Pocono Raceway.
Busch suffered a concussion in the crash. He was unable to return to the car but he remains active with 23XI Racing.

On Monday, Kurt Busch was arrested. According to the report has was pulled over at 11:32 p.m. by an Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputy. The officer clocked his 2024 Lexus at 63 mph in a 45 mph zone while on Brawley School Road.
Iredell County is in the state of North Carolina.
Busch was arrested with charges of DWI, careless and reckless driving in addition to the speeding charges. On Tuesday, a judge revoked his diver’s license for 30 days.

“I’m very disappointed in myself and I apologize to my family, my racing family, and to my fans. I will work with the authorities to rectify the situation and work with the county to make it a safer place in the future,” he said in the statement.
Back in 2005, Busch was pulled over for suspicion of drunken driving. However, Busch stated the incident was not alcohol related.
