Katherine Legge has at least 7 NASCAR races scheduled for the 2025 season. Those are spread between the NASCAR Xfinity Series as well as the NASCAR Cup Series.
Over the weekend, she entered her first NASCAR Xfinity Series race of 2025. After qualifying, she failed to make the race based on her laptime.
However, Jordan Anderson Racing worked out a deal with Joey Gase Motorsports / Scott Osteen. Legge replaced JJ Yeley in the JGM machine after Yeley turned a lap good enough to make the race.

On lap 52, Legge was going a lap down. She slowed drastically into turn one. Nick Sanchez worked under her just fine.
However, William Sawalich entered higher on corner entry. He was likely looking to diamond the exit of the corner as the leaders raced through lap traffic.
However, Legge slowed too drastically for that to play out at corner exit. Instead, Sawalich drove right into the back of Legge, spinning her into the corner.
As Legge was sideways on the banking, Kasey Kahne drove into the side of her. Legge was done for the day as Sawalich and Kahne picked up heavy damage.

“There was not much I could do, I just got taken out by Sawalich,” Katherine Legge told Bob Pockrass.
“I had given the inside lane to whoever had just gone passed me. I thought we were going to finish the corner but he just moved up the racetrack and understeered straight into my left rear.”
“Not much you can do.”
“I was settling in. The car wasn’t the car that I was used to driving in practice yesterday. So, it took me 20 laps to get used to it.”
“We were just hanging with the pack there. My goal was just to finish.”
“When you get hit like that, there’s literally nothing you can do. I don’t have a disappear button on my steering wheel.”
