Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 60 (1-60 / 188)
Green flag, Logano shoves Smith clear into turn one. Smith throws a block on Logano off turn two to hold the lead.
Lap 2, they form three wide for the lead. Logano pulls ahead as he leads the outside lane.
Lap 5, the field forms four wide for the lead. Many drivers are saving fuel and it’s allowed this to happen.
Lap 25, Kyle Busch cycles back to the race lead with Zane Smith on his inside.
Lap 39, Chase Briscoe leads. The top 10 have formed single file around the inside lane as the pace of the field has picked up.
Pit cycle
Lap 41, the Toyota group heads for the pit lane led by Briscoe. Green flag stops are underway.
Lap 43, Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski tangle and crash at they dive for the pit lane. Ryan Blaney is collected and the caution is out.
16 cars have yet to pit. Logano leads them to the pit lane under caution. Chris Buescher cycles to the front row.
Green, a bump draft gone wrong at the front of the field! Bell is turned across the track after a bump from Denny Hamlin into the side of Buescher. Bell slams the inside wall! The caution is out.
Green, Hamlin and Wallace run side by side at the front. Hamlin clears him to take the lead.
2 to go in stage one, Larson shoves Stenhouse Jr to the lead.
1 to go, Stenhouse heads for the middle. Wallace throws a block on Larson. Larson works to his right rear anyway into turn one and Larson to the lead!
Larson wins stage one at Talladega Superspeedway!

Talladega
Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 60 (61-120 / 188)
Larson leads the field to the pit lane. Anthony Alfredo is the only car to stay out.
Pit Penalty: Larson drops to the rear of the field after speeding on the pit lane.
Green flag on stage two, Alfredo and Byron run side by side at the front. Byron has a run off turn two, Byron to the lead.
Lap 72, the field forms three wide for the lead. Alfredo is back to the lead.
Lap 103, Logano leads with Preece on his bumper.
Lap 109, the Cevy group heads for the pit lane. Green flag stops are underway.
Lap 111, Logano leads the Ford group to the pit lane. A lap later, the Toyotas to the pit lane. John Hunter Nemechek spins leaving the pit lane. No caution.
Pit Penalty: Chase Elliott, Daniel Suarez and Shane van Gisbergen will serve a pass-through for speeding on the pit lane.
Lap 113, Carson Hocevar cycles to the race lead.
4 to go in stage two, Wallace shoves Logano to the lead.
2 to go, Wallace pulls even with Logano at the front of the field. They rub doors.
1 to go, they remain side by side at the front. Cindric shoves Wallace clear of Logano.
Bubba Wallace wins stage two at Talladega Superspeedway!

Stage 3 – Report

The leaders dive for the pit lane. Chase Briscoe takes over the lead with a fuel only stop.
Green flag on stage three, Herbst shoves Briscoe clear off turn two.
54 to go, Ty Gibbs to the lead with Denny Hamlin on his bumper. The top 5 have formed single file around the inside lane.
27 to go, Zane Smith shoves Joey Logano to the lead via the outside lane.
Pit cycle
25 to go, the Toyota group heads for the pit lane for the final time, fuel only. Chevy driver Carson Hocevar leads that group to the pit exit.
18 to go, the Fords all dive for the pit lane for fuel only.
17 to go, the rest of the field pits under green.
Ross Chastain throws a huge blocks on Hocevar and the Toyota group.
Pit Penalties: Josh Berry and Kyle Busch will serve a pass-through penalty.
16 to go, Austin Cindric cycles to the lead with William Byron on his bumper.
10 to go, Cindric and Byron run side by side for the lead.
5 to go, Ryan Preece pulls out of line to lead the outside lane. He pulls even with Cindric on the inside.
2 to go, Cindric and Preece remain even at the front.
1 to go, they remain side by side off turn four.
Cindric by a few feet at the line, he wins at Talladega Superspeedway!
