Green flag, Shane van Gisbergen is clear before turn one. Briscoe clears Byron to hold 2nd.
Lap 3, Byron runs side by side with Briscoe into turn 11. Byron to 2nd.
2 to go in stage one, Shane van Gisbergen pits from the race lead. Most of the leaders have already pitted.
Ross Chastain stays out. He wins stage one at Sonoma Raceway!

Chastain leads the rest of the field to the pit lane. Shane van Gisbergen cycles back to the race lead.
Green flag on stage two, Shane van Gisbergen clears William Byron to hold the race lead out of turn two.
Lap 31, AJ Allmendinger spins on his own from 5th with dirt on the track, no caution.
Lap 38, Denny Hamlin and Justin Haley are off in the dirt. They both keep it rolling, no caution.
Lap 42, Briscoe has a run on Byron into turn seven. He dives inside, Briscoe to 2nd.
Lap 46, Daniel Suarez throws a block on Ross Chastain into turn 11. He gets to the bumper and Suarez is around, no caution.
3 to go in stage two, Shane van Gisbergen pits from the race lead. He brings most of the leaders with him.
Shane van Gisbergen cycles back out in 2nd. Larson leads by 1.5 seconds. He’s closing quickly.
1 to go in stage two, van Gisbergen has a run on Larson out of turn two. He dives inside for turn three. They rub fenders, Shane van Gisbergen is clear.

Green flag on stage three, side by side for the lead as they roll up the hill. Shane van Gisbergen finally clears him into turn five. Noah Gragson spins behind them, no caution.
Lap 62, Ryan Blaney is shoved off in the dirt by Chris Buescher. In a separate incident, Bubba Wallace spins. Denny Hamlin spins as he checks up for Wallace. The caution is out.
Green, van Gisbergen clears Birscoe to hold the lead.
21 to go, the final green flag pit cycle is complete. Shane van Gisbergen cycles back to the race lead.
16 to go, van Gisbergen leads Briscoe by 2.5 seconds.
15 to go, Cody Ware has lost an entire wheel directly after a pit stop. The caution is out.
Briscoe fakes a dive to the pit lane. Chase Elliott is the first car to the pit lane from 3rd and he brings many with him. Elliott restarts 14th with fresh tires.
11 to go
Green with 11 to go, van Gisbergen clears Briscoe up the hill into turn two. Noah Gragson spins in turn five and he’s run into by Ryan Preece as he sits in the middle of the track. Multiple others are collected and the caution is out.
Green with 7 to go, side by side up the hill. Shane van Gisbergen finally clears him in turn four. Ricky Stenhouse Jr is turned with help from Ty Gibbs in the esses and Stenhouse Jr slams the tire barrier, caution.
Green with 4 to go, they rub doors for the race lead and van Gisbergen clears Briscoe into turn three. Kyle Larson is around in turn four with help from John Hunter Nemechek. Larson clips Ryan Blaney as he spins across the track, no caution.
3 to go, Josh Berry turns Carson Hocevar in turn two in the battle for 8th, no caution.
2 to go, van Gisbergen leads by 1.3 seconds. Chase Elliott has climbed to 3rd with fresh tires. Elliott drops a wheel exiting turn two and he falls to 4th.
