Both dirt late model drivers nearly flipped in the wild crash at Batesville Motor Speedway after a slider gone wrong
Update: Cade Dillard suspended by Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
On Friday night, Batesville Motor Speedway hosted the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. It was night one of the famed Topless 100.

With 18 laps to go in the second feature, Garrett Alberson threw a slider on Cade Dillard for the race lead. He cleared him by several feet.
However, he lost all momentum off the corner as he all but parked it to keep it out of the wall. Dillard was on the gas and closing fast as they exited turn two.
It looked like Dillard was attempting to cross under Alberson off the corner. Instead, Dillard drove into the left rear of Alberson.
The No. 97 jumped over the left rear wheel of Alberson. The No. 58 was shoved nose first into the outside wall.
Both cars nearly went upside down in the heavy impact.

Cade Dillard comments
“That Garrett just once again proves how big of an idiot he is,” Cade Dillard told FloRacing.
“Every time he buckles his helmet on, he tears somebody’s stuff up. He got me at Cedar Lake last week. Tore up Jake Timm.”
“Every time you see him on the track, he’s tearing somebody’s stuff up. I’m not going to sit on here and go on a rampage and cuss, nothing like that.”
“But, you’re tired of racing with idiots like that. You work way to hard to get out here and put yourself in a position to be up front like this.”
“And every time I’m around him, he hits my racecar. I hope they have to send his back to the JIG.”
“If he touches me again, I’ll total him out, again.”
Garrett Alberson comments
“Yeah, I’m not really sure there,” Alberson comments.
“I know Cade’s mad. We’ve had our run-ins. I got a hell of a run down that front straight. By the time I got to turn one, I didn’t even see him no more.”
“I mean, heck, he hit me in the left rear. So, I must have gone by him.”
“I’ll have to see the replay. Maybe I screwed it up, I don’t know. Hate it for my guys, I think that thing’s probably junk.”
Dirt late model drivers return to Batesville Motor Speedway tonight for the finale of the Topless 100. The feature winner will collect a check for $50,000.
