The NASCAR teams were in court over a dispute of a charter sale
Legacy Motor Club and Rick Ware Racing have settled their lawsuit. The lawsuit was opened as they claimed that a charter was purchased from RWR for use in the 2026 season.

However, Rick Ware Racing argued that the charter in question was to be sold for the 2027 season not the 2026 season. The teams were in a dispute over which charter that was owned by RWR was the one actually sold.
They have agreed to a settlement. Legacy will acquire the charter from RWR.
However, Rick Ware Racing has stated they still plan to race the No. 51 as a charter entry in the 2026 season.
The terms of the settlement were not announced.

Additional comments
“LEGACY MOTOR CLUB and Rick Ware Racing jointly announced today the teams have reached a resolution regarding the sale and transaction of a team charter.”
“While the matter has been resolved amicably to the satisfaction of both parties, the terms of the settlement remain confidential.”
RFK Racing is still leasing a charter for the 2026 season. That will be used by the No. 60 entry. It appears that will be the charter that Legacy just purchased from RWR but no team has confirmed.
