Tyler Siri was involved in a scary crash on Friday night of the World Finals
The Dirt Track at Charlotte is hosting the annual World Finals this week in Concord, North Carolina. The event is the season finale for the Super DIRTcar Series as well as the World of Outlaws Late Models and Sprint Car Series.
Tyler Siri advanced into the Super DIRTcar Series modified main event through the B Main on Friday night. In the feature, he was involved in a terrible crash.
The car came to a rest upside down.
“Tyler Siri is awake and talking to EMS after a hard crash in Turn 3 at Charlotte,” the Super DIRTcar Series stated.
The medical team cut the roof off the car. However, the driver was speaking to the team. He was then transported to a local hospital.
The series confirmed, “Driver of the 5*, Tyler Siri, is being transported for further evaluation.”

Medical update on Tyler Siri
On Saturday morning, Outlaw Speedway who is affiliated with Siri provided the following update:
“Tyler, Cuppie, Theresa and everyone here at Outlaws want to extend massive thank for all of your prayers, positive thoughts, messages and concern after his wreck at Charlotte on Friday night.”
“They are keeping him for observation. A scan was done as he suffered a concussion and they came back clear of damage to his head or neck areas.”
“His left arm will be assessed, he suffered a few broken ribs and cracked sternum. His road to recovery will be a long one but The Boss man that we all know is too strong and too stubborn to be down for long.”
“He generally remains in good spirits whole he rests and begins the recuperation process.”
“A huge shout out to TEO for making a chassis that kept the wreck from causing worse damage, and to every piece of safety equipment on the 5*. Also to the track personnel at Charlotte and the medical staff at the hospital for providing stellar professional care.”
“Thank you Booger, Rob, and Brian, Jr. “Christian”, Zach, Craig, Jared, Maria and Ashlee for your hard work this week preparing for the trip, and for everything you have done at the track.”
“Our sincere and heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Tyler Murray who was involved as well.”

The World Finals will continue on Saturday night. It’s the finale of the event on the half-mile dirt track.
