Daytona 500
Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 65 (1-65 / 200)
Green flag, Busch clears Briscoe into turn one. Briscoe pulls even off turn two.
Lap 2, Busch noses ahead and he begins blocking runs from both lanes behind him.
Lap 4, John Hunter Nemechek clears Busch via the inside lane. He pulls in front of Busch to lead the outside lane.
Lap 5, BJ McLeod spins off turn four. The caution is out. William Byron, Noah Gragson, Justin Allgaier and Casey Mears pick up light damage.
Nemechek leads most of the field to the pit lane. Logano wins the race to the pit exit. Busch stays out and returns to the lead.
Green, Nemechek shoves Joey Logano to the lead.
Lap 34, they form three wide for the lead. Briscoe takes the lead away from the outside lane.
Lap 36, Kyle Busch gets loose and he clips the side of Brad Keselowski. No caution as they all keep rolling.
7 to go in stage one, Jimmie Johnson spins while attempting to reach the pit lane, no caution.
2 to go, Zane Smith leads a pack of 10 cars that have yet to pit. They’re attempting to make it to the end of the stage with little fuel left.

Stage 2 – Report

Zane Smith leads most of the field to the pit lane. Blaney and Cindric take over the front row.
Green flag on stage two, Cindric is shoved clear at the front of the field.
Lap 80, three wide for the lead. Kyle Larson shoves Cody Ware out front.
Lap 81, Chastain pulls even on the inside lane. Chastain to the lead. Moments later, Allgaier and Zilisch form side-by-side for the lead.
Lap 85
Lap 85, Zilisch rubs doors with Allgaier. The field wiggles behind them. Cody Ware bounces across the track. Austin Dillon, Ty Gibbs, Chase Briscoe and others are collected.
Ty Dillon leads the field to the pit lane. Chastain wins the race to the pit exit with fuel only.
Green, Hamlin shoves Chastain to the lead.
Lap 115, Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson run side-by-side at the front of the field.
10 to go in stage two, Blaney shoves Busch to the lead.
8 to go, Allgaier to the lead. Allgaier throws a block on Hamlin but Hamlin is already there. Hamlin is shoved in the wall at the front of the field. 20 cars are collected and the caution is out.
Bubba Wallace wins stage two as it finishes under caution.

Bubba Wallace and Corey Heim take over the front row.
Green flag on stage three, they run side-by-side for the lead. Buescher shoves Wallace clear to the lead.
55 to go, they form three wide for the race lead.
20 to go, Wallace leads a group of Toyotas to the pit lane.
16 to go, a group of Ford drivers head for the pit lane. Cole Custer is out of fuel.
13 to go, Chase Elliott leads a group of Chevrolets.
11 to go, Logano leads the final group to the pit lane.
10 to go, Michael McDowell has yet to pit.
9 to go, Christopher Bell is hooked into the outside wall. The caution is out.
McDowell has yet to pit. He’s staying out but he’s very low on fuel.
Green with 4 to go, Reddick clears McDowell before turn one. Byron makes it three wide for the lead.
3 to go, Hocevar shoves McDowell back to the lead.
2 to go, Hocevar works to the outside of McDowell. Hocevar to the lead! They run three wide for 2nd on back.
1 to go, Hocevar throws a block on Jones. They both crash. No caution! Elliott to the lead!
Elliott moves high off turn four to block a run from Tyler Reddick. Reddick looks inside of him. Reddick is clear and they’re crashing behind him.
Tyler Reddick wins the Daytona 500!
