7 full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers will race Friday’s truck race at Bristol Motor Speedway
This weekend, NASCAR is racing in the mountains of Tennessee. The half-mile of Bristol Motor Speedway is hosting a triple-header weekend for the NASCAR Cup Series, O’Reilly Series and Truck Series.
The action begins today with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series taking to the track. Friday night’s race will set a record.
Taking the green flag tonight will be seven full-time NASCAR Cup Series drivers. That marks the most full-time Cup drivers to ever start a Truck race.
NASCAR confirmed, “Tonight’s Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol will set a record for the most full-time Cup Series drivers to ever start a Truck race (7).”
