Lap 45, Kyle Larson blows a tire and backs it hard into the wall! The caution is out. Larson would have been the leader if the green flag pit cycle completed.
Green with 1 to go in stage one, Gibbs clears Hocevar into turn one.

Stage 2 – Report

Green flag on stage two, Gibbs is clear via the inside lane into turn one. Michael McDowell follows him through to take 2nd away.
Lap 61, Chase Elliott clears himself on Ricky Stenhouse Jr but Elliott is hooked in the right rear. Elliott bounces hard off the wall. No caution as he heads to the pit lane under green.
Hocevar is trapped a lap down behind Heim after his pit stop. Heim throws a block and Hocevar is frustrated.
Laps later, as Heim heads for the pit lane, Hocevar gives him the finger.

5 to go in stage two, Daniel Dye blows a tire and slams the outside wall. The caution is out.
Ross Chastain stays out and wins stage two under the caution!

Chastain pits from the lead. Ty Gibbs cycles to the lead.
Green flag on stage three, Gibbs clears Heim into turn one. Hamlin follows him through and takes 2nd away.
Lap 115, the caution is out for debris.
Gibbs leads the entire field to the pit lane. Heim wins the race to the pit exit with just two tires. Gibbs restarts outside the top 10 with four tires and a full fuel cell.
Green, Heim throws a huge block on Joey Logano. They both wiggles and Hamlin leads into turn two! Ryan Blaney is turned with help from John Hunter Nemechek as they run three wide into turn three. The caution is out.
Green, Logano shoves Heim clear on the outside into turn one. Heim throws a huge block on Hamlin to hold the lead into turn two. Hamlin loses momentum and he falls to 5th.
17 to go, Heim leads Bell by 0.5 seconds. Logano is closing on both of them.
2 to go, Bell has a run into turn one. Heim throws a block and holds the race lead.
Corey Heim wins the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway!
Todd Gilliland wins the In-Season Challenge and pockets $1,000,000.
