The two NASCAR drivers are not friendly; Watch the video from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway

NASCAR drivers Carson Hocevar and Corey Heim have made it known that the two drivers do not like each other. And they’re racing up front for the win today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

On lap 82, Carson Hocevar pitted from 2nd. Heim stayed out.

After the stop, Hocevar came out just behind Corey Heim. Heim had yet to pit but Hocevar was trapped behind him, the first car a lap down and with fresh tires.

Hocevar has a run off turn two. He looked to the inside, Heim threw a block.

Hocevar’s crew stated over the radio, “We’re not going to win the race on lap 89 passing Corey Heim. So, take care of your stuff. 11 to go, this time.”

With 9 laps to go in stage two, Heim dove for the pit lane. Hocevar chased him down the track and all the way to the pit entry.

As Hocevar drove by, he had a single finger out of the driver’s window.

Dale Eanrhardt Jr reacted, “Oh man! Yes! That’s the international signal for, ‘Thank you buddy.’ “

Former driver Jamie McMurrey added, “I just know how the garage works. Sometimes your actions, both on and off the track come back to bite you. This is one of those examples. I don’t think Corey Heim would have done that to any other driver. Popcorns popped.”

Jimmie Johnson added, “I’m so happy the bird is back. In our generation, we would flip each other off just to say, ‘Hey’. “

The race is currently ongoing.
