Watch as NASCAR driver Carson Hocevar was confronted yet again on the pit lane after the race at Iowa Speedway
Carson Hocevar has been making a name for himself in the NASCAR Cup Series while also creating a long list of enemies. The 22-year-old is currently in his second full-time season with Spire Motorsports.

On Sunday at Iowa Speedway, Hocevar was able to notch his name to another driver’s enemies lost.
Hocevar drove it deep to the bottom. He wiggled, chased it up the track and into the side of Zane Smith. Smith made contact with the wall.
Hocevar jumped on the radio, “Right front’s pretty hurt. Chattered all the way in. I got him pretty good with the right front.”
“I was checked watching the No. 19 and No. 41. And it chattered the rears really bad.”
Hocevar concluded on the radio, “Sorry.”

Smith attempted possible retaliation; The crew chief approached Hocevar on the pit lane
Later in the race, it appeared that Smith maybe attempted to return the favor. However, it was a swing and a miss.
Hocevar told Frontstretch after the race, “He took a swing at me, that nobody saw. Turned dead right and tried to wreck me. If he wants to be Billy badass, go ahead.”
During that interview, the crew chief for Smith’s No. 38 car had a message to deliver. He approached Hocevar on pit lane in the middle of an interview.
The crew chief stated to Hocevar, “Hey! When you gonna learn how to (expletive) drive dude. You wiped us the (expletive) out. Our car is (expletive) wrecked because you drive like a (expletive) (expletive).”

Denny Hamlin comments
“It was an accident. He got loose,” Denny Hamlin stated via the Actions Detrimental podcast.
Denny Hamlin is veteran NASCAR driver. He himself has to deal with driver feuds exactly like this, most recently with driver Ross Chastain.
“Just say, ‘Hey, sorry about that, I (xxpletive) up.’ Instead of saying, ‘Ha! Take a number.’ “
“Its what got Joey Logano destroyed at Martinsville. Eventually, you grow up.”
Logano was in an incident with Kenseth at a prior track. Careless comments after the incident led to Kenseth cleaning out Logano as he was leading at Martinsville Speedway.

“Without a doubt, 100%, he did not purposefully hit Zane Smith. Your social media posts, it’s good for clicks, bad for results. And I think he’s after the clicks right now.”
“You’re gonna pay at the most inopportune time. I’m gonna put him in a hell of a spot.”
“Brad Keselowski went through this, Joey Logano, they wised up to what it takes to be successful long-term, in the series.”
This weekend, NASCAR is heading to Watkins Glen International. When NASCAR goes road racing, it’s generally a full-contact sport.
