However, as far as Hocevar knows, Josh Berry isn’t one of those. Yet, Hocevar was shipped by Berry into turn two late in the NASCAR Cup series race at Sonoma Raceway.
“Josh Berry just takes him out,” Dale Earnhardt Jr stated from the TNT booth.
Hocevar ended up stalled in the dirt. The entire field went by and he lost an opportunity of a top 5 finish.

“I don’t know. I didn’t do anything,” Carson Hocevar stated via his twitch stream on why Josh Berry crashed him.
Hocevar explains, “I was like, ‘Man, of all people to wreck me.’ I thought it would be somebody that I had it coming. I don’t know what I did.”
“It’s just like, ‘Well shit.’ Through strategy we get to 5th and then I get wrecked. It’s just like, ‘Aw, whatever.’ “

“I’ve been given some. I get some, come on, lets go. I don’t know why it was that corner. Or what I did.”
“I think what’s disappointing is just the fact that it was an unbelievably terrible day. Somehow, we put it together and then it was just like, ‘Nope, never mind.’ It was the opposite of our whole year.”
“Like, stage one and two, it’s like we’re a top tier team. Then, in stage three, it’s like, oh by the way now we’re Spire Motorsports again. Like, this one, I’m like, ‘This is (expletive) hilarious.’ We had the biggest shitshow stage one and two then oh by the way with finish 8th.”
