This is the first time drivers are seeing the new 1.7-mile street course. Rain has fallen just ahead of practice and the track is damp for their first laps on the circuit.

Alexander Rossi is fastest overall as practice concludes. He turned a laptime at 58.6063 at the tail end of the session.

Kyle Kirkwood tops the first of two split group sessions. He turned a laptime of 57.374 in the session that directly followed the combined session.

Alex Palou is fastest in the second split session. He turned a laptime at 57.612 in group 2.
