On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series raced at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. And due to a rain shower, the race began with the cars on wet weather tires.
Ahead of the green flag, Carson Hocevar sped past the pace car to test out the track. He then spun out in the wet, before the green flag.

“I don’t think you have to totally neuter him but I almost feel like he’s at the point now where, it’s not really him. It’s a piece of him but it’s going above what he really is,” Kyle Larson stated via the Door Bumper Clear podcast.
“It’s like he’s playing a game out there. He’s doing it for attention, click or views,” spotter Brett Griffin added.
“Great, he’s getting attention. We talk about him every (expletive) week on here because of it. He leaves us no choice because he does a lot of dumb (expletive) all the time.”
Larson added, “Him spinning out before the race. That was 1000% just to get on TV.”
“I don’t think people are telling him, ‘Hey, go door everybody.’ I think he just blacks out.”
“The camera didn’t catch it at Iowa but he was trying to spear Bell. When he got lapped for like the second time, he was trying to spear Christopher Bell for two laps. I’m behind him like, ‘What are you doing?’ “
Larson concluded, “That’s what I don’t understand. You admit that you wrecked yourself but then you still go out and run right through him the next chance you get.”
Brett Griffen added, “He is Mr. Excitement. For better or worse, he’s going to find himself on TV every week, somehow.”
