Bubba Wallace has a new look on the No. 23. And no doubt, it’s one of the worst schemes of the entire season. It’s caused a bit of a stir on social media for various reasons.
The 23XI Racing entry has sponsorship from Kroger Health and Nuvaxovid (a protein-based, non-mRNA COVID-19 vaccine).
This is exactly the type of thing that makes the internet go crazy. Wallace is aware of that and he’s leaned into it…

“It’s Kroger Health, get your flu shot. People are going to lose their minds over the COVID-19 stuff,” Bubba Wallace told Jeff Gluck.
“For us, it’s about building opportunities for people to be more educated on getting their flu shots. And taking care of their health.”
“Everyone else can make their own headline. But, we’re all in it together to help everybody’s health.”
