Rockingham Speedway opened in 1965. Their very first race was a NASCAR Grand National Series event. Since, NASCAR and Rockingham Speedway were forced to part ways. The NC speedway fell victim to the Ferko lawsuit.

Fairbury Speedway is a 1/4-mile dirt track in Fairbury, Illinois
In 2018, Matt Curl was signed by the World Racing Group. He left his role as the promoter of Fairbury Speedway and spent the season as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series director.

To start 2018, Kyle Bronson made the switch from a Rocket Chassis to a Longhorn Chassis. In June, Kyle Bronson made another switch to a Sweet-Bloomquist chassis. Two new cars were put on order as Bronson began driving an old loaner car in the meantime.

JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier is in the middle of a NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff run. This weekend, the NXS has an off week. Martinsville Speedway is hosting the MENCS and the NCWTS races.

Earl Pearson Jr started off the final night of the Dirt Million at Mansfield Motor Speedway with a 2nd place finish in his heat race. However, only the winner of that race transferred into the main event.

Don Lamacchia, age 53 entered the event in the B-Mod division at the dirt track. An accident took place in front of him on the track. That car went through the air. Lamacchip attempted to drive under the crash but the airborne car landed on top of the #56 car driven by Lamacchia.

Fairbury Speedway hosted the 2018 Prairie Dirt Classic last weekend. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series event saw Devin Moran claim the $30,000 win.

West Georgia Speedway is a 3/8-mile dirt track located in Whitesburg, Georgia. The track features Hot Shots, Mini, Bomber, Hobby Stocks, 602 Late Model Sportsman and Limited Late Models.
Back in June, the track brought in new dirt. Those improvements were done for the July 7th Hobby Stock race paying $1,000 to the winner.
