Jeffrey Earnhardt comments on Charlotte. “I’m really eager to get back to Charlotte this weekend. Back in May we were able to learn a lot during the race that will benefit myself, and the team heading into this weekend. With much cooler weather forecasted for this weekend, it will create its own set of challenges, but I have confidence we can come out with a solid finish.”

This weekend’s event will mark Earnhardt’s second career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series(NSCS) start at Charlotte, and his 19th NSCS career start. Thus far in 2016, Earnhardt has 16 starts, with his most previous being last weekend at Dover International Speedway where he finished 36th after starting 38th. The Mooresville, NC native has five career starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Charlotte with a best finish of 25th coming in the spring 2014 event.

When the No.32 Can-Am Ford hits the track this weekend it will be sporting a different look, supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Riding along with Earnhardt this weekend will be a close friend of the Go Fas Racing family Cindi Rivera. Cindi was diagnosed with Breast Cancer back in June, and continues to keep fighting.
