Both Austin Dillon and Ryan Newman are running retro Dale Earnhardt paint schemes at Darlington Raceway
The Southern 500 will feature at least two retro paint schemes originally sported by Dale Earnhardt Sr. Both cars will be fielded by Richard Childress Racing.

It’s the 30th anniversary of Dale Eanrhardt’s Southern 500 win. Dale Sr drove the Wrangler sponsored machine to victory lane in 1987.

Both cars will honor Dale Earnhardt at Darlington. They will each be running similar blue and yellow colors. Mirroring Earnhardt’s famous Wrangler Chevy.

Austin Dillon in the #3 will enter a car sponsored by E15 American Ethanol.
Ryan Newman, #31 will enter a car sponsored by Caterpillar.
