Green flag, side by side all the way through turns 1-2. Suarez can’t get to the throttle on the bottom. Byron has more speed off the corner, he takes the lead down the back. The field is single file around the bottom.

Lap 5, caution. Brandon Jones had to chase the car up the track in turn 3. He loses it, up the banking and around he goes. He slides backwards down the banking in turn 4, self cleaning racetrack. Jeff Green tried to squeak through, he hole closed and he piled into Jones.

Green, Suarez is ahead by a foot at the entry to turn 1. He pinches Byron to the wall on entry. Suarez is trying to get every inch of the arc into turn 1. He dives to the bottom, clips the apron and chases it up the banking. Suarez has to lift. Byron swings around on the outside.

Lap 19, Harrison Rhodes has created a cloud down the back stretch. Oil line or an expired engine. He was running 28th. Caution.

Green, Erik Jones gives a push to Byron at the flagstone. Byron is clear in the middle of 1-2. Caution. Chad Finchum had to checkup, Brandon Brown didn’t see it coming. He put the bumper to Finchum. Accidental but Finichum was sent up the banking and into the wall at the exit of turn 2.

Green, Justin Allgaier has locked bumpers with Byron. He pushes him from turn 4 all the way into turn 1. Byron back to the lead.

Ryan Blaney had a run on Justin Allgaier off turn 4. Blaney carried speed off the top, Allgaier drifted from the bottom lane to the wall, taking the lane away on exit. Blaney put the bumper to him at the flagstand. Allgaier was shoved to the inside. Blakey drives around the outside, to 3rd.

Lap 140, Justin Allgaier has a train of cars behind him. William Byron is desperate for a way by. At the same time, Daniel Suarez is all over Byron. Everything Byron does, he washes out as he gets close to Allgaier. He can get a run on him, until he gets close and the front downforce fades away.
