Daniel Ricciardo is coming to Texas Motor Speedway to watch Dale Earnhardt Jr race
Over the weekend, F1 came to America. They were in Texas to run their stop at Circuit of the Americas.
Daniel Ricciardo is well-known fan of the Earnhardt family. Many NASCAR fans might not be aware of this but Ricciardo runs an Earnhardt Sr styled #3 on his Formula 1 machine.
It’s a rare thing to see F1 and NASCAR world’s collide. The Red Bull Racing driver was asked about Dale Earnhardt Jr’s final season in NASCAR.

“Honestly, for the first time, in Dallas I’m gunna go to the NASCAR race in two weeks time, I think it is,” Daniel Ricciardo told Will Buxton of NBC Sports.
“Texas Motor Speedway I think it is. I said, ‘I gotta see him race before he hangs up the helmet.’ ”
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will invade Texas Motor Speedway on November 5th. It’s the 2nd race of the Round of 8. Although, Dale Earnhardt Jr didn’t make the playoffs in his final NASCAR season.
Yeah, the Earnhardt family, it’s a huge name in motorsport.

“Yeah, the Earnhardt family, it’s a huge name in motorsport. Not only in America but all over the world.”
“Yeah, I wish him well. Hopefully I get to see him preform well in Texas. I’m going to try to do a helmet swap with him. We’ll see how it goes.”
In 2015, the Red Bull Racing driver has expressed interest in running a NASCAR race. Additionally, Dale Earnhardt Jr himself has given him an open invitation to run in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JR Motorosports.
