Jonathan Davenport’s new rig is awesome

Mark Martin debuts Davenport’s hauler for 2018

Awesome race haulers are a trend in dirt late model racing.

Jonathan Davenport’s new rig made it’s debut on Sunday night via Mark Martin. The former NASCAR driver snapped the photo from the hanger sized racing shop.

When you work close with Mark Martin, you gotta have nice shiny rigs. It’s almost a requirement. That was mostly a joke. It’s just that Martin is really into traveling and RV design.

Below are the photos of Davenport’s 2018 hauler.

It’s as long as it is shiny.

For 2018, Jonathan Davenport will pilot a Longhorn Chassis. He parted ways from the Barry Wright house car in mid-2017. That led to a temporary role with G.R. Smith.

Now, Jonathan Davenport will drive a white #49 car owned by Lance Landers. Double L Motorsports is based out of a hanger in Batesville, Ark.

Martin was there for the initial car release back in November at The Dirt Track World Finals. “I’m just a fan,” Martin stated in regards to Davenport’s new team.

Batesville is the home of Mark Martin as well. The former NASCAR driver owns a hanger of his own.

Davenport will tour with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2018. Davenport won the series title in 2015.

New 2018 merchandise is already available.
