Steady rain postpones Ralph Lathem Memorial
UNION, KY (May 5, 2018) – Steady rain throughout the morning and continuing into the afternoon has forced the postponement of tonight’s 32nd Annual Ralph Latham Memorial at Florence Speedway until Wednesday, August 8.
“We waited as long as we could, hoping the rain would end,” said Florene Speedway Promoter, Josh King. “Unfortunately, the continued rain on an already saturated facility will make it impossible for us to prepare the track for tonight’s event.”

The Wednesday, August 8 event will precede the Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 presented by Lucas Oil. The Sunoco North/South Shootout will take place on Thursday, August 9, followed by the $50,000-to-win, Sunoco North/South 100 on Friday-Saturday, August 10-11.
