Texas Motor Speedway practice results for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series on November 2, 2018
First on track for Friday, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. It’s their first Texas Motor Speedway practice session. The 1.44-mile in Fort Worth, Texas is set to host the second race of the Round of 8 in the NASCAR Playoffs.

Practice Report
It’s a brief 50 minute practice session at Texas Motor Speedway.
There’s a new tire combination to figure out this weekend. The left side tire was used at Darlington. The right side was used at Michigan.
15 minutes in, Martin Truex Jr hits the track for the first time in this session. He’s a whole 5mph off the pace. Busch set an average speed of 195.73, Truex is a 190.63 currently.
35 minutes min, Ryan Blaney sits at the top of the board with a 198.24.
5 minutes remain, Ryan Blaney remains at the top of the board. He’s climbed from the cockpit after just just laps. He tied for the least amount in the field. Joey Gase has turned the most laps so far of all drivers with 18.
Ryan Blaney wins the opening round of NASCAR Cup Series practice. Stewart-Haas Racing has all four cars inside the top 7 positions at the conclusion of the session.
