I-80 Speedway results from Friday night at the dirt track
Tonight, it’s night one of the Silver Dollar Nationals. The 4/10-mile dirt track is set to host the crown jewel dirt late model event.

The conclusion of the weekend at I-80 Speedway will pay $53,000 to the race winner. Tonight, it will be two rounds of heat races.
Round 1 – Heat 1
Cody Laney and Earl Pearson Jr set the front row for the first heat race of the night.
Green, Laney wins the race into turn one on the bottom. Pearson smack the cushion and pulls even in the center of the corner. Pearson wins the race off turn two.
Lap 3, Michael Norris started dead last in 10th. He’s been passing them high and low. He’s up to 5th.
Earl Pearson drives away to win the first heat race of the night!
Round 1 – Heat 2
Blair Nothdurft and Allan Hopp lead them to the line in heat two. Green, McCreadie has a run from row two.
They run three wide for the lead into turn one! Hopp comes out with the lead around the top. McCreadie takes over 2nd.
Lap 2, Tyler Bruening is slicing through the field, he’s up to 3rd after starting 6th. Bruening takes 2nd away from McCreadie. Nothdurft is in the wall and the caution is out.
Green, McCreadie takes them three wide once again. McCreadie takes the lead away as he slides from the bottom to the top in turn one.
2 to go, Hopp junos the cushion and catches the wall in turn four. He’s still on the gas and holds 2nd.
Tim McCreadie drives off to take the win in heat two!
Round 1 – Heat 3
Chris Madden and Jeremy Grady roll to the starting line in heat three. Green, Madden leads. Bloomquist runs four wide through turn one behind him. The yellow is out, false start.
Green, Madden gets the jump. Bloomquist heads for the middle to make it three wide for 2nd. Grady holds 2nd.
3 to go, Grady is in the wall off turn four. He keeps it rolling but Bloomquist takes 2nd.
Chris Madden drives off to the win in heat three!
Round 1 – Heat 4
Jonathan Davenport and Junior Coover head to the flag stand in heat four. Green, Davenport leads by two car lengths into turn one.
Mason Zeigler is slicing through the field. In a lap and a half he’s up to 2nd.
Zeigler is maintaining the gap to Davenport but he’s too far back to run him down.
Jonathan Davenport takes the win in heat four!
Round 1 – Heat 5
Josh Leonard and Bill Leighton Jr trail the pace truck ahead of the final heat in round one. Green, Leighton wins the race off turn two.
Lap 5, Tyler Erb has run down the bumper of the race leader. He slides him into turn three. Leighton cuts off the top and crosses under him off the exit of turn four to hold the lead.
Next lap, same exact thing. As they race for the lead, Pierce is closing. The top three run bumper to bumper against the cushion.
Pierce slides Erb in turn one and he slots right between the leader and Erb. No idea how none of them crashed as there was hardly room for a car to fit between them as they all ran the cushion.
Final lap, Pierce brushes the wall off turn two. Erb crosses under him and slides into the final corner. Erb takes 2nd away.
Bill Leighton Jr wins the final heat race in round one!
Round 2 – Heat 6
Dale McDowell and Al Humphrey set the front row for the first heat in round two. Green, McDowell leads into turn one.
Lap 2, Owens looks to the inside in turn three. A lap later, they remain side by side. Owens finally completes the pass.
Pierce is closing. He’s up to 2nd!
Jimmy Owens wins heat six!
Round 2 – Heat 7
Hudson O’Neal and Billy Moyer had to the chalk line in heat seven. Green, they run even into the corner.
They’re near even off turn two. Moyer has the momentum and wins the race into turn three.
8 to go, Bruening and O’Neal battle for 2nd. That allows Moyer to open the gap.
Stormy Scott throws a slider on O’Neal. He’s not going to make it work. Scott spins as he tries to leave room for Hudson. The caution is out.
Green, Moyer leads off turn two.
4 to go, O’Neal cuts to the bottom in turn three. He pulls even but Moyer carries momentum off the cushion to hold the lead.
Coming to the white flag, O’Neal has a run off turn four. He slides him on the bottom in turn one. Moyer cuts off the cushion and crosses under him off turn two.
Moyer wins the race into turn three. Hudson O’Neal has another run off turn four but it’s not good enough.
Billy Moyer takes the win in heat seven!
Round 2 – Heat 8
Chad Simpson and Devin Moran make up the front row in heat eight. Green, Simpson slides Moran in turn one and he’s clear off turn two.
Lap 2, Bronson has a look on the bottom into turn three. He pulls to his number but Simpson holds the lead.
Four cars race for 2nd as Moran falls to 5th.
3 to go, Moran is back to 2nd as they continued to trade sliders and bang doors for the position. He slides Simpson in turn three, clear!
Devin Moran fights back to the point and takes the win!
Round 2 – Heat 9
Michael Norris and Billy Moyer Jr lead them to the flag in heat nine. Green, Moyer Jr wins the race off the top out if turn two. He cuts to the bottom and plays defense into turn three.
6 to go, Zeigler looks to the outside of Norris into in turn two. That hole closes. Zeigker cuts to the bottom and slides him for the position.
3 to go, Zeiglet is on the bumper of Moyer Jr as they both run the cushion. He drives it hard to the bottom in turn three, he’s clear by two car lengths in turn four.
Mason Zeigker takes the win!
Round 2 – Heat 10
Ricky Weiss and Race Vaught trail the pace truck in the final race of the night.
Green, Weiss wins the race off turn two. Buckingham slots in 2nd.
9 to go, Tyler Erb slides Buckingham for 2nd. Weiss leads by 10 car lengths.
4 to go, Buckingham looks inside of Erb. He takes 2nd away. Erb was glued to the cushion. That cushion is just about gone as most drop to the bottom or the middle. Erb’s lane went away from
