Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 45 (1-45 / 147)

Green flag, Nemechek and Hill run even into turn one and rub on the doors. Nemechek runs right to the edge of the high line, he cuts down the track in turn two and has momentum down the back, Nemechek leads into turn three.

Lap 7, Nemechek struggles with lap traffic with heavy sunlight glare, he’s forced to pump the brakes as he runs up on the rear bumper of Norm Benning. Austin Hill and Ben Rhodes both drive by on the inside, Hill leads.

Lap 14, Cory Roper blows a tire and brushes the wall, no caution.

Lap 16, the competition caution is out.

Hill leads the field to the pit lane. Enfinger wins the race to the pit exit with a two tire call. Ryan Truex and Bayley Currey stay out.

Green, Truex spins the tires. He’s jacked sideways but holds the lead into turn one. Smith, Creed Hill and Enfinger run four wide outside the top 5.

Ben Rhodes looks to the inside of Truex in turn three. He clears him with ease, Rhodes leads.

Lap 25, Codie Rohrbaugh and Kris Wright tangle and the caution is out.

Green, Rhodes and Todd Gilliland run side by side into turn one. Stewart Friesen spins behind them, caution.

Green, Rhodes and Gilliland run side by side into turn one. Gilliland wins the battle on the outside lane.

Todd Gilliland wins stage one at Darlington Raceway!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 45 (46-90 / 147)

Gilliland leads the field to the pit lane and pit exit. Friesen stays out after nursing his tires in the closing laps of stage one.

Green, Gilliland gets the jump and he’s clear into turn one. Nemechek drives it deep to the inside in turn three and he clears Gilliland in turn four.

Lap 80, Chase Purdy is around as he clears himself on Ankinori Ogata but he’s not clear.

Nemechek and the rest of the leaders hit the pit lane. Tanner Gray, Timmy Hill, Danny Bohn and Ben Rhodes stay out.

Pit Penalty: Ben Rhodes pitted a lap early. Pit road was closed and he’ll go to the tail.

Green, Gray spins the tires. Nemechek takes them three wide and Nemechek returns to the lead in turn one.

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 57 (91-147 / 147)

Green flag on stage three, Nemechek is clear into turn one as Corey Heim moves into 2nd.

47 to go, Timothy Peters is around and the caution is back out.

The leaders stay out. Matt Crafton is the first truck to pit as only a handful hit the pit lane.

Green, Nemechek is pushes sideways. Heim, Smith and Nemechek run three wide into turn one. Nemechek wins the battle off turn two on the outside lane.

37 to go, Tanner Gray is around as Ryan Truex gets into the back of him. Timmy Hill and Akinori Ogata are collected as he spins across the track.

Big crash

Green flag, Heim and Nemechek both get turned from bump drafts behind them. They clip the wall and the field stacks up behind them. 10+ trucks are involved. Nemechek is able to drive away with minimal damage. Much heavier damage for Heim.

Penalty: Chandler Smith has been parked for driving too fast by the safety vehicles. He was in 21st. Smith and the crew chief have been called to the NASCAR hauler.

Ben Rhodes and Johnny Sauter line up on the front row.

Green, Rhodes and Sauter fight for space into turn one. Rhodes wins the battle. Kilgerman loses a tire, drives up the hill and clips Friesen. They both pounds the wall, caution.

8 to go

Green, Rhodes and Creed run side by side into turn one and off turn two. Rhodes noses ahead off turn two but Creed sidedrafts and pulls him back into turn three. Creed drives it deep to the bottom and he’s clear into turn three.

7 to go, caution as Danny Bohn spins.

Green, Rhodes and Creed run even and rub doors into turn one. Rhodes gets loose on the bottom. He nearly spins but saves it and holds 2nd.

Sheldon Creed opens the gap.

1 to go, the caution is out as Hailie Deegan spins. This race is over.

Sheldon Creed wins at Darlington Raceway!
