The Ringers have been added to the SRX lineup for select events; Learn more about the new short track series
In June, the new SRX Series will make it’s debut in the racing world. The Superstar Racing Experience will highlight a wide range of drivers on dirt and asphalt short tracks.
Every race will be aired live via CBS Sports.
It’s a spec chassis series. All cars are the same and drivers are limited to a handful of adjustments.
A few weeks ago, the SRX car was unloaded for various test sessions. Watch the video below of the car at Eldora Speedway.
There are 10 full-time drivers that will run for a championship in the new racing division. However, each race will feature a range of ringers to amateur drivers as well. Yesterday, those names have begun to be released.
Dirt late model superstar Scott Bloomquist will join the series in a one off race on the dirt at Knoxville Raceway. Bloomquist recently dropped off the full-time World of Outlaws tour.
Former NASCAR Cup Series drivers Greg Biffle and Scott Speed will each make appearance in the series as well.
