NASCAR official slips on fuel at Bristol Motor Speedway (Video)

Watch the video as the NASCAR official slips and falls with a bag of sand in hand

Last weekend, NASCAR visited Bristol Motor Speedway. The short track hosted a thrilling weekend of action from start to finish. And entertainment came in all forms…

Watch the video below.

Spencer Boyd removed the fuel can from the pit box. He then proceeded to drag the can off the pit lane an onto the race track.

Once on the track, Boyd shook his machine left and right. He successfully dislodged the fuel can.

However, the can was now broken at both ends. Fuel poured out of the can from a hole in the bottom and the top as well.

Puddles of fuel ran down the banking, just under the apron. NASCAR deployed the safety vehicles for cleanup.

Just as the TV was going to commercial, an official climbed from the track with a bag of sand. The sand would be used to lay on top of the fuel and soak it up.

But, the man took one step from the truck and slipped on the fuel. The sand bag that was in hand was now flying through the air. The official landed square on his ass.

Like a pro, he stood up quickly. He grabbed the bag of sand and began putting it on the fuel to complete the job.

The official did not appear to be injured.
