Tony Stewart takes on the finale of the indoor midget race in Indiana
Tonight, it’s the final night of the Rumble in Fort Wayne. The indoor race is set to host the midgets on a 1/6-mile concrete track for the Saturday finale.

Last night, Tony Stewart ran into issues ahead of his heat race. He then broke will running in a transfer spot during the LCQ. Tonight, he’s in the main and starting 3rd.

Three cars tangle coming to the green after Fedorcak stalls! Moments later, they rack them again and another crash before the green, involving Austin Nemire and Joey Payne.
Green flag, Welpott and Nuckles run side by side into turn one. Laps later, they remain side by side, Welpott finally takes the lead on the inside. Stewart takes over 2nd.
Lap 3, Tony Stewart works inside of Welpott into turn three, Stewart leads!
Lap 10, Stewart opens the gap. Welpott holds 2nd.
Lap 20, Stewart has caught the tail of the field.
Lap 25, Stewart is trapped behind the lap cars. He’s still opening the gap.
Lap 27, Jack Macenko gets into the bumper of Welpott for 2nd. He then moves to the outside! They run side by side for 2nd, Macenko finally clears him to take the spot.
15 to go, Stewart works heavy lap traffic. Macenko opens the gap to Welpott and he’s closing on Stewart.
12 to go, Welpott is off the pace. He pulls to the infield, no caution.
10 to go, Stewart leads Macenko by 3.8 seconds.
2 to go, Russ Gamester is off the pace, he pulls to the infield.
