Speedweeks continues in Lake City, Florida

Tonight, the national dirt late model tour unloads in Lake City, Florida. The half-mile dirt track of All-Tech Raceway is set to pay $15,000 to the feature winner.

Main Event
Report

Green flag, Erb noses ahead into turn one. Moran holds 2nd off turn two.

Lap 2, Tyler Bruening slides Moran for 2nd into turn three. He’s closing quickly on the leader.

Lap 4, Jake O’Neil spins and the caution is out.

Green, Erb leads as Moran retakes 2nd on the restart.

Lap 5, they’re running all three lanes of the track from front to back.

Lap 8, Chris Madden has a flat left rear, caution.

Green, Erb leads with Moran on his bumper. Moran drives it deep to the bottom in turn three. He clears him, Moran leads.

Lap 10, Jake O’Neal is around once more, caution.

Green, Moran leads as Jimmy Owens takes over 2nd.

Caution.

Green, Moran leads as McCreadie and Owens split Erb in the battle for 2nd. Owens holds that spot with McCreadie all over his bumper.

Lap 13, Tyler Bruening slides Tyler Erb. He’s barely clear but as he gives up momentum, Tyler Erb gets into his rear bumper. It’s light contact but the track is slick and Bruening goes around. The caution is out.

Green, Moran leads as McCreadie dives inside of Owens for 2nd.

Lap 15, McCreadie is all over the bumper of Moran in the battle for the lead. McCreadie runs a lane higher than Moran and builds momentum around the top into turn one and has a run down the back. McCreadie looks inside and slides Moran for the lead into turn three, McCreadie leads.

Lap 20, McCreadie works lap traffic. Moran is closing. They’re sliding from top to bottom, there’s little grip tonight.

Halfway

Lap 29, Moran is there. He dives to the inside and they run even. A lap later, Moran clears him.

Now Moran fights with lap traffic. McCreadie forces it to the inside in turn one. They fight for space, McCreadie takes the lead.

Lap 32, they race through lap traffic. They rub once more into turn three, McCreadie holds the lead.

Lap 34, McCreadie runs the inside lane as Moran works the top. Moran gets held up by Kyle Bronson and Owens closes. Owens to 2nd!

Lap 38, Moran slides Owens for 2nd into turn one. Owens crosses under him to retake the spot off the corner.

Lap 39, McCreadie nearly tangles with lap trafvfic. Owens closes to within 5 car lengths.

9 to go, Owens is on the bumper of McCreadie! McCreadie gets trapped behind a lap car on the bottom. Owens knocks what little cushion is left and drives by on the outside, Owens to the lead.

5 to go, Owens opens the gap. Davenport is on the bumper of McCreadie in the battle for 2nd.
