Green flag, Bayston noses ahead on the inside into turn one. Eliason fights back on the outside lane off turn two. Eliason crosses to the bottom in turn one but he can’t find a way by, Bayston still leads.
Lap 5, Dominic Scelzi slides Eliason for 2nd into turn three.
Lap 6, James McFadden spins and the caution is out.
Green, Bayston leads. Dominic Scelzi has a look on the inside but he can’t complete the pass.
Lap 9, McFadden is around again, caution.
Green, Bayston and Scelzi run side by side into turn one. Scelzi pinches him at the entry and Bayston is forced to lift to let the car rotate and avoid contact, Dominic Scelzi to the lead!
Lap 11, Bayston works inside of Scelzi to retake the lead. Donny Schatz flips behind them, caution.
Green, Dominic Scelzi leads Bayston as Kyle Larson takes 3rd away.

Lap 16, Larson has closed to the bumper of Scelzi in the battle for the lead.
Lap 18, Larson knocks the cushion early in turn one. He crosses down the banking, diamonds the corner and exits low with a run off turn two. Larson drives it deep into turn three and takes the race lead!
