Carson Ware reinstated by NASCAR following suspension

Ware was indefinitely suspended last year for a behavioral penalty after arrest

In October 2021, Carson Ware was suspended by both NASCAR and SS Green Light Racing. He was arrested on misdemeanor charges of assault on female, simple assault and injury to personal property.

Police arrived at the scene in October, Ware peaked out the window wearing green underwear and black socks. He also has blood on his face as well as a swollen lip.

Melissa Katsamperis lived at the residence, as well as her husband, Kenneth Evans. Evans was a co-worked with Ware who was also staying at the residence.

“Evans & his wife explained that Carson Ware had come back to their residence earlier in the previous evening, and that when he came back he was very intoxicated and belligerent. He stated that he advised Ware to go to bed several times, but that Ware became violent.”

“Melissa advised that Ware pushed her and slapped her in the face, and that her husband came to her defense.”

“Both Evans & Katsamperis advised that they went to their bedroom and locked the door, and that she called 911.”

“Deputies also observed 2 flat screen TV’s that had been broken with the screens being shattered.”

At the time, Rick Ware, father and NASCAR team owner stated, “My hope is that Carson will get help that he needs during this difficult time.”
