On Friday, the NASCAR Truck Series unloaded in Nashville, Tennessee. The 1.333-mile track of Nashville Superspeedway brought a bit of drama.

Early in the race, DiBenedetto says he was nearly fenced by the No. 42 of Carson Hocevar. Yet, later in the race, he found bigger problems.

With 22 to go, Matt DiBenedetto, Grant Enfinger and Corey Heim run three wide for 6th off turn two. As they slowed each other down running side by side, Ty Majeski had a run on all of them.

And at the last second before the entry to turn three, Majeski drove it to the inside. Now, they ran four wide into turn three.

Well, that wasn’t going to work. They ran out of room in a hurry, Majeski made contact with DiBenedetto. As DiBenedetto went up the track, he stuffed Heim and DiBenedetto in the wall.

“I don’t know what goes through somebody’s mind to go, ‘I’m gonna go four wide, on the bottom, on entry to three.’ Where you have an angle straight at all of us and you take out three good trucks,” Matt DiBenedetto started after exiting the care center.

“I have no idea what some of the guys are thinking. Don’t even have an answer.”

“Some of these guys race with such disrespect. I about got fenced early in the race by the No. 42 for no reason.”

“So yeah, it’s more than a conversation. One, threaten them. Two, just start crashing, wreck them.”

“They can race everybody else in the field however they want. But, I have no tolerance for pure stupidity. This was one of our nicer trucks and here it’s crashed.”

“I guess just start crashing them, I don’t know. It’s not even worth a conversation.”

“We’re three wide on the back stretch, already. That’s enough at Nashville to say, ‘Hey, we all gotta make it into the corner.’ Four wide on the bottom!”

DiBenedetto added, “It blew my mind when he went down there. It truly did. No way, he’s not going to do that. There is no thought process.”
