After the Daytona 500: Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace exchange words
Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace came off turn 4 in the Daytona 500 side by side. Bubba Wallace attempted a side draft through the tri-oval in a drag race to the line.
From there, the two locked fenders, went up the banking and into the wall. They crashed across the line.

Bubba Wallace won the battle, finishing 2nd in the Daytona 500. Hamlin finished 3rd.

After exiting the infield care center. “I want to see the replay before I say something stupid. But, he might need to take some Adderall for that one,” Bubba Wallace told FOX Sports.
“He cut my right front tire down,” Hamlin said of the incident from the media center after the race.
But, their exchange of words was more than just through the press. The two drivers were involved in a heated face to face discussion by the bathrooms in the infield of Daytona.
The initial reports of this altercation indicated there was a fight. However, there was not a fight.
There was certainly some tense moments, cussing and yelling. Quickly, the drivers were separated and went their separate directions.
