Kyle Larson’s High Limit Sprint Car Series makes its debut on the bullring dirt track paying $22,022 to win
Tonight, it’s the opening night for a new sprint car series. The High Limit Sprint Car Series is promoted by Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet. National sprint car drivers are set for the 5/16-mile dirt track of Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, IN.

The series is set for a full rollout in 2023. Tonight, it’s the High Limit Open, the one and only event scheduled for the 2022 season. NASCAR drivers Alex Bowman, Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Chase Briscoe have joined Larson on the entry list.
Brady Bacon and Zeb Wise set the front row for the main event. 35 laps of dirt track racing are up next…

Report
Green flag, Bacon clears him into turn one. Zise jumps the throttle through the middle and he pulls even off turn two. But, Wise has to lift as he runs out of track, Bacon leads into turn three.
Lap 5, most of the field is glued to the inside lane.
Lap 6, Larson looks to the outside of Sanders into turn one. He takes 3rd away.
Lap 10, Bacon has caught the tail of the field.
Lap 11, Wise moves to the top as he works lap traffic. That takes the lane away from Larson as Larson is all over his bumper for 2nd.
Lap 15, Wise moves to the bottom in turn one. The door is open, Larson knocks the cushion and drives right by to take 2nd away.
Lap 17, Tyler Courtney has climbed to 10th. He joined the tail of this field after transferring through via the LCQ.
Lap 18
Lap 18, Larson and Sanders run three wide with lap traffic for 2nd. Zach Hampton and Chad Kemenah tangle behind them, caution.
Green, Bacon is clear into turn one as he rolls the bottom. Sanders is knocking the cushion and bouncing through the ruts behind him.
Lap 19, Larson has a flat right rear, caution.
Green, Bacon misses the bottom into turn one. Sanders pulls even on his outside. Justin Sanders to the lead!
Lap 20, Brent Marks slows, caution.
Green, Sanders is clear into turn one. Eliason works under Bacon to take 2nd away.
10 to go, Eliason rolls the inside lane and he’s closing on Sanders in the battle for the lead. Buddy Kofoid is closing on both of them.
8 to go, Kofoid works outside of Eliason for 2nd.
7 to go, Kofoid has a run on Sanders into turn one. He drives it deep to the bottom, slides him and Kofoid takes the lead away.
4 to go, Kofoid works heavy lap traffic.
