Green flag, Sheppard slides Thornton Jr into turn one. Thornton Jr holds off a run from Pierce in the battle for 2nd.
Lap 33, Thornton Jr runs wide off turn two. Pierce slides him into turn three for 2nd. Thornton Jr fights back and Pierce slides him once more.
Lap 5, Richards slows, caution.
Green, Sheppard leads Pierce off turn two.
Lap 10, Pierce is closing on race leader Sheppard. Kyle Larson is dropping through the field.
Lap 16, Sheppard has caught the tail of the field. Pierce has a run off turn two and he slides Sheppard for the lead in turn three. Sheppard crosses under Pierce to retake the lead.
Lap 17, Pierce cuts to the bottom as he works lap traffic. Sheppard makes a hard left to avoid contact and Sheppard is completely sideways. No contact no caution as Sheppard saves it but he’s lost a ton of ground.
Lap 20, Ricky Thornton Jr and Cameron Marlar fight for space into turn one in the battle for 4th. They both spin, caution.
Green, Pierce leads as Garrett Smith takes over 2nd.
Moran takes 2nd away.

Lap 32, Steve Casebolt is over the banking, caution.
Casebolt turns into Boom Briggs under caution. Casebolt pulls off the track, likely following a request from officials.
Green, Pierce leads as Devin Moran and Brent Larson run side by side for 2nd, Moran wins that battle.

10 to go, Pierce leads Moran by 1.5 seconds as Pierce throws sparks off the outside wall. Moran is knocking the cushion behind him.
