Report
Green flag, Davenport is clear into turn one as they run three wide for 2nd. Marlar takes 2nd away off turn two.
Lap 5, Davenport opens the gap to Marlar.
Lap 10, Davenport has caught the tail of the field. Marlar and Pierce are closing slightly.
Lap 17, Pierce gets shoved into the wall by a lap car. He keeps rolling but he’s lost ground.
Lap 25, Marlar has closed to within a car length of Davenport. He dives inside, side by side for the lead.
Lap 26, Davenport loses the nose in lap traffic. He jumps the cushion and Marlar takes the lead away. As Davenport loses momentum, Pierce takes 2nd away.
Lap 28, Billy Moyer slows, caution.
Green, Marlar leads as Pierce slides Davenport for 2nd. Larson heads to the bottom in turn three, they run three wide for 2nd.
10 to go, Marlar leads Pierce and Larson.
8 to go, Pierce is closing on the bumper of Marlar. The both run the cushion.
6 to go, Pierce jumps the cushion and Larson takes 2nd away.
2 to go, Larson is closing quickly on Marlar.
1 to go, Marlar leads Larson by a car length. Larson dives to the inside in turn three. Marlar does the same.
Mike Marlar holds him off and wins Saturday night of the Wild West Shootout!
