Dale Earnhardt Jr has added his name to the late model stock entry list. And, he’s doing it in a retro paint scheme.
The 48-year-old is currently in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. He retired from the sport after the 2017 season with 26 career wins.
Dale Earnhardt Sr used nitrous to qualify for his first NASCAR race
Before reaching the NASCAR world, Earnhardt was on the short track scene. He piloted a late model with Mom ‘N’ Pop’s as the primary sponsor.
In recent months, Earnhardt has been racing late model events. He made his debut last year at North Wilkesboro.
And now, everything has come full circle. Earnhardt will run a Mom ‘N’ Pop’s paint scheme in the upcoming race at Florence Motor Speedway.
The team has released a full line of merchandise around the new paint scheme. Mom ‘N’ Pop’s die-casts, t-shirts, sweaters, hats, can coolers and bumper stickers are all currently for sale.
