NASCAR driver Ross Chastain makes his dirt late model debut at Cherokee Speedway
This weekend, it’s a home race for the NASCAR industry as the sport rolls into Charlotte Motor Speedway. Just down the road, sits the dirt track of Cherokee Speedway.

On Thursday night, the XR Workin’ Man Series unloaded in Gaffney, South Carolina. Ross Chastain joined the field to make his dirt late model debut.
The car is fielded by Niece Motorsports. His debut was scheduled for several weeks prior with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. However, due to rain, that event was canceled.
Now, the NASCAR star got his chance to play in the dirt…
